Starting Out

July 17 2013 I received my first SSI payment. I met Jewel some months before on a dating site called Zoosk. I've been broke since March 2009 and Zoosk is a pay site. I couldn't send or recieve emails on Zoosk without being a paid subscriber. I thought we had lost each other, until she found me on Plenty Of Fish, an internet dating site dedicated to helping people find relationships. But best of all, Plenty Of Fish is free!

JEWEL, ME and The Gimp, ITCHIKAIBO

Jewel is a professional gal. She's tall and good looking. Jewel could be a former Miss America and I'm proud she's accompanying me. She's well suited to this life style, in love with nature. We'll spend much of our time far from the big city, close to nature. Wilderness living whenever we can.

We've been together about a week now. She's been preparing for this a little over a month, organizing her life to get moved into my semi trailer. Two years ago I was working the Nevada Online Project where I earned enough $$$ to frame, insulate, plumb and electrify my trailer. When she moved in, I made some improvements. A new counter top, step, and some shelf space. I've been in Cedar City, Utah about a month as Jewel has made several trips from Las Vegas, Nevada.

A couple days ago, I noticed my radiator was leaking. Of course, the nightmare is being broken down without the needed $$$ to keep this rig rolling. I enjoy sitting for extended periods, but when we've got to move, we've got to go. We were parked on the north end of town. Near the Love's truck stop off Interstate 15. The locals called it "the death pit". Apparently, when a critter was killed on the highway, the carcass was brought here. Walking around the area, we discovered a fresh coyote carcass. The ears and lower jaw had been removed. That was when I discovered why they named it "the death pit". The coyote had been shot and the ears and lower jaw were used as proof of kill for bounty. However we we're parked there too long and I was getting unwanted visits from the local police. Eventually I was told I had to move.

I had been adding gallons of water to keep the radiator full, but couldn't see where the added water was going until the the leak became large enough. There was a steady drip from the lower part of the radiator. I began checking around Cedar City, where I might find a mechanic. I needed to find someone who could advise me on what measures I need to do to fix the problem. My truck is a 2002 International with a Detroit Series 60 engine. The radiator has plastic tanks and cannot be repaired. It was broken and leaking where the tank joined the core. Yesterday I called several mechanics and decided it was time to meet with them personally. We found a shop along Bull Dog Road, WT Trucking. I thought it was something I had searched for, but this is a private yard. Thankfully, their mechanic took pity on us as I was filling out an application for employment as a driver for their company and agreed to help us out! For $50 he'd replace the radiator if we went to St. George, Utah and purchased one. This morning, Jewel and I went to Rush Truck Center in St. George, Utah and bought a new radiator.
